| FPC adheres to the ethical principles of respect for
persons, honesty, justice, and social
responsibility. Forensic Psychiatry is a subspecialty of
psychiatry in which scientific and clinical
expertise is applied in legal contexts involving
civil, criminal, correctional, regulatory or
legislative matters, and in specialized clinical
consultations in areas such as risk assessment or employment. Both Dr. Forrest and Dr. Molden are fellowship trained in Forensic Psychiatry, and each are double board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Strodeis fellowship trained in Forensic Psychiatry and board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry and board eligible in Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Forrest, Dr. Molden, and Dr. Strode are members in local (Arkansas Psychiatric Society) and national (American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law) professional organizations. Dr. Forrest, Dr. Molden, and Dr. Strode each hold current academic appointments of Assistant Professor. They have presented nationally on inpatient violence risk assessment and statewide on issues ranging from work place and college murders, correctional psychiatry, the insanity defense, insanity conditional release, malingering, and maternal filicide. They have lectured at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. The forensic services available from FPC include, but not limited to:
FPC is capable of providing psychiatric services via telemedicine. FPC has been on the cutting edge of the delivery of psychiatric mental health care, providing forensic and general psychiatric treatment and evaluations via telemedicine. FPC has provided psychiatric services to two community mental centers at four various locations throughout the state of Arkansas. In brief, you should know that we strive for honesty and objectivity in our evaluations. Currently, forensic referrals are only accepted from attorneys, courts, insurance companies, and employers.
